Marketing Analyst - J1268

Senior analyst needed for a multiple award-winning, e-CRM agency with an international client base.

This is a rare opportunity to join the analysis team in a rapidly growing, sociable and down to earth agency. Working with a small team of analysts you will deliver strategic consulting, customer insights and post-campaign analysis for a selection of household name clients within the travel, retail and pharmaceutical industries.

The successful applicant will need excellent database and analytical skills. With direct access to real-time transactional data you will be delivering results-driven customer behaviour analysis that drives the future strategy of our eCRM activity.

The experience you have gained to date should enable you to add immediate value to existing clients and to the team.


Responsibilities
" Working across functions to supply customer insights analysis for a portfolio of clients
" Working directly with clients, attending internal meetings where relevant to lead their data strategy and analysis
" Managing the creation and maintenance of a regular suite of KPI reports that show clients the value of their eCRM activity
" Provide regular performance reviews (monthly or quarterly) to evaluate eCRM campaigns and make strategic recommendations
" Supporting the junior insights analyst
" Ensuring a timely and accurate response to ad-hoc data queries

Essential skills
" Educated to degree level in a subject with substantial statistical content
" Commercial experience using consumer data to gain insight and drive value to the clients' bottom line
" Knowledge of CRM/eCRM practices and direct marketing industry
" Highly numerate

Analysis
" Data strategy consulting
" Experience leading analytical projects from scoping through to presentation of results & implementing recommendations including:
o Customer targeting for response driven retailing industries, e.g. mail order, financial services, holidays/travel
o Data mining large customer databases
o Customer Insights, segmentation, profiling and trend analysis
o Campaign post analysis
o Results interpretation
" Model building and other analytical techniques

Other Technical:
" MS Office suite - advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills
" Proficient manipulating transactional databases (i.e. many to many relationships) in a SQL environment

Personal:
" Excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills. Ability to present complicated results in a simple manner
" Professional with proven ability to accurately interpret client data and analytical needs and apply to commercial objectives
" Adaptable - ability and drive to see beyond standard techniques to deliver bespoke solutions to meet client needs while appreciating commercial restrictions
" Assertive - confidence to challenge management and clients if required
" Leadership - you will be an inspiration to junior insights analyst and campaign analysts
" Enthusiastic, efficient and highly organized - desire to constantly improve efficiencies; ability to keep up to date with a range of projects across multiple clients
" Attention to detail, producing accurate results to tight deadlines
" Structured and clear thinker - ability to prioritise a demanding workload and service multiple clients
