Analyst with extensive modelling skills required to provide
marketing insight for niche provider of marketing
solutions.
Job Tasks and
Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility for
the delivery of bespoke analytics solutions
- Compile, enhance, and review SAS code
- Provide appropriate advice and consultancy to the Account
Management team
- Outline and manage the process for investigating data performance
improvements
- Work closely with the Strategic Services Manager to highlight and
evaluate new product initiatives and facilitate thought leadership
and PR opportunities
Skills and Personal
Qualities
- Analytical skills to
extract, interrogate, analyse large datasets
- Extensive knowledge of direct marketing data applications
- Extensive experience with SAS and strong understanding of SAS
programming and procedures
- Experience with databases comprised of data from multiple
sources
- Ability to use transactional information to build predictive
regression and CHAID models
- Familiarity with RFM segmentation
- Ability to explain statistical modelling techniques to a
non-technical audience
- Ability to demonstrate a strong use of initiative and
pro-activity
- Good presentation skills for reporting to upper management and
clients alike
- Good organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple
projects simultaneously
Qualifications and
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years experience
within a hands-on analytical environment
- Minimum 3 years experience in a client facing role
- BSc (Hons) in Statistics, Mathematics or Operational
research
