Global CRM agency requires
an experienced Senior Account Director to join their London team
and run a major European loyalty programme.
We are seeking a seasoned
direct marketing professional for a client-facing position to lead
the agency support on one of the world's most prominent loyalty
programmes. The successful candidate will have expertise in
managing an account which is heavily dependent on innovative
strategies in a highly competitive marketplace and uses e-mail as a
primary form of customer communication. Candidates must also
have a thorough understanding of database management and metrics
reporting.
Duties
" Lead the Account Management team in developing and supporting
technology based customer communications and general CRM project
support.
" Work with technology and other agency teams to a) create, execute
and maintain project plans identifying key milestones, project
dependencies, and project resources, and b) create and maintain
documentation pertaining to project, e.g. (Scope, Requirements.
" Develop a thorough understanding of the client's businesses,
products, services, customers, and competitive environments in
order to contribute to the development of innovative strategic and
tactical solutions for their business needs.
" Develop strong relationships with mid and upper-level client
managers and be viewed as an indispensable "Trusted Advisor" to
their overall team.
" Be the key knowledge-holder of how to use the customer's data
warehouse (understand key analyses, data sources, inputs/outputs,
reports, etc.).
" Promote use of the data warehouse through reactive and proactive
consulting; provide thoughtful recommendations on how to leverage
the data warehouse to impact the client's business.
" Consult, set expectations and work with internal teams based in
the USA to create and propose innovative marketing strategies to
the client.
" Work with senior management to identify and capitalise on new
opportunities
" Share responsibility to ensure that the agency produces all
client work with the highest level of quality, on time and on
budget.
" Manage all internal costs with accountability for on budget
delivery and reporting for assigned projects.
" Be visible, be involved, be available and be
cooperative.
Requirements
" A minimum of 7 years of experience in a client service leadership
role.
" A strategic thinker who is comfortable working with technology,
analytics, and strategy managers to help integrate priorities into
timeframes for project milestones.
" Track record of understanding and applying CRM strategies.
" Solid understanding of agency process and integrated disciplines
(primarily budgeting, technology, and analytics).
" Track record of building strong client relationships.
" Highly developed interpersonal skills.
" Exceptional written, verbal and presentation communication
skills.
" Ability to keep composure in high stress situations.
" University degree.
