Marketing Data Account Manager - J1181

Leading business information owner requires a Marketing Data Account Manager to manager portfolio of key accounts and deliver bespoke marketing data solutions 

Summary of Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead campaign data delivery to support effective marketing communications and planning through the provision of best in class data targeting support.
  • Define and lead projects for tactical marketing data delivery.
  • Build and maintain cross-functional relationships and awareness to facilitate the understanding of marketing requirements.

 

Key Result Areas

  • Proactively contribute to continuous improvement in the effectiveness of data delivery for marketing programmes (40% of time)
    • Build and maintain relationships with all key sales & marketing teams to ensure campaign data requirements are co-ordinated with the Data team and delivered to requirements
    • Define and monitor service delivery key performance indicators (KPIs)
    • Propose, implement and manage external data partnerships in conjunction with key business stakeholders
  • Support cross-functional data acquisition programmes (25% of time)
    • Provide thought leadership on opportunities to improve the organisation’s collection, enhancement and use of customer and prospect information
    • Identify tactical data development needs with key stakeholders, propose and manage delivery
    • Develop and maintain ROI-based performance indicators on data purchases to continually improve efficiency of data purchasing function
    • Work with the Data Acquisition team to capitalise on opportunities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in effectiveness of marketing database (15% of time)
    • Identify opportunities for insight to drive improved marketing decision effectiveness and work with Data Analytics team to provide customer analysis and insight support for campaign activity
    • Translate insight into actionable data recommendations for marketing campaigns
    • Support stakeholders to meet their goals and objectives through the provision of data
  • Manage relationships with data providers (20% of time)
    • Build and maintain a full awareness of the List Rental market and external prospect data sources (e.g. trade associations)
    • Manage the Tele-research capability (internal team and external providers)
    • Maintain management information on data acquisition sources, volumes, costs and campaign based ROI

 

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Experience of Data Buying or Data Purchasing
  • Understanding of Customer Insight and the process of insight
  • Project and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrable relationship building ability
  • Awareness of database management processes

 


 

Location     Central London

Salary        up £33K plus bonus and excellent benefits
